Annapurna Circuit Trek

The Annapurna is justifiably one of the world’s classic treks - the mountain range is a 55km massif in the north west of Nepal. It is home to the 10th highest peak in the world, Annapurna I, which is one of the fourteen 8,000 metre peaks. This impressive mountain towers to 8,091 metres and lies to the east of the great gorge of the Kali Gandaki River. It lies west of the great range with Annapurna II (7,937 meters) to the east, they regally flank either end of the massif.

The circuit trek itself is around 220 kilometres long. From start to finish you will be blown away by spectacular mountain landscape, cultural diversity, wild life and flora.
The trek will bring you from the terraced farmlands of the lowland valleys through dense forests, deep gorges, and alpine meadows until you reach the barren desert-like higher mountains. The diversity of landscape is mirrored by the constantly changing culture of the local people as you progress around the circuit. You will encounter a variety of different religions such as Tibetan Mahayana, Buddhism, Hinduism.
