NEPAL VISA REGULATIONS
If you have not obtained your Nepal visa from your nearest Nepal embassy or consulate, visas can be obtained at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and at any border land crossing on the Nepal India border.

You will be required to pay your visa in one of the major currencies. You will also need two passport photos for your visa form. Tourist visas can be extended for a maximum of 150 days in any one calendar year – January to December.
PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is compulsory that you take full holiday insurance which will cover you to the maximum altitude of your chosen trek. You will need to present a copy of your insurance document, passport and emergency numbers to your leader before you leave for your trek. Insurance documents are essential to ensure emergency air lift is an option to descend the mountain in case of emergency.
AREA TREKKING FEES
To enter the Annapurna region you will need to acquire an Annapurna conservation permit. This can be obtained from the ACAP office in Thamel. It will cost Rs. 2,000 (20 Euro).
The Langtang region requires you to have a National Parks Permit to enter. This can be paid at the national park headquarters in Dhunche or at the Department of National Parks and Conservation in Thamel. It will cost Rs. 1,000 (10 Euro).
Chitwan /Bardia National Park fees will be Rs. 500 (5 euro).
To visit Nepal’s interior restricted areas, you will need to apply for a trekking permit - these can be obtained from the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu.
